Notes
Family Occupation

The family seems to have travelled around a lot. I can't seem to find any of them in the 1861 census records, and although at times William is noted as being a Baker, he is more often described as a Dealer or Licensed Hawker and the rest of the family take to a caravan and become Peddlers or Hawkers after his death.

Other Children

As the family moved around so much it's possible that there are other children still to find.
A number of people include William Sturch (c.1841 - unknown) as a child of William and Mary, there is more information on this theory on William's page.

Removal Order

William's father, Charles Sturch, had a removal order served on him, Mary, William (10), Ann (6), George (4), Jemima (7 months), on the 29 Dec 1828 from Honnington to Shipston. A removal order is the transfer of responsibility of the parish poor from one parish to another.
